Summer's over...already??

Where did the time go? It seems like only yesterday that Kurt and I were discussing all of the trips, home projects and down time we were sure to enjoy this summer. Now, all of a sudden, IT'S OVER. That's right - school is back in full swing; his athletes are all back and ready for another season; and our "down time" (which never really happened) is just a dream to look forward to again next summer.

So what have we been doing the past couple of weeks?

Well, not a whole lot!

Knox and I had the stomach flu - not cool. Here's dada feeding Knox since I was comatose on the couch for several days:



We've spent time playing with Rosie and crawling around at the park:



We got Knox an early birthday present!



{That's right - that is an R2D2 chair. I am married to a Star Wars nerd!}

And we are preparing for football season by watching as many preseason games that we can!

Oh, and one other cool thing I got to do was be the featured blogger on my friend, Allison's awesome blog - check it out: Tuesday Shoesday at Allison's Randomness. I figured since I could find time to work on a post for her's, I might as well find some time to update our blog :)

Now, we're just preparing for a houseful of awesome guests this weekend and traveling to Nashville next week for OUR WEDDING DAY! 12 days....eeek!
